Take Hwy 395 North to the Hallelujah Junction ( intersection of Hwy 395 North. & Hwy 70 West) . Travel west on State Route 70 to Portola, California. At the main traffic light in downtown Portola, take a left on to Gulling Road and traverse the bridge/Feather River. At the bottom of the bridge turn right onto Commercial Street and follow the County Road A-15 signs. The road is a series of “Z’s”. The road will straighten after 4 turns. Stay on County Road A-15 for approximately 4 miles. You will see a granite monument sign engraved with Nakoma and Dragon on the left. Turn there and drive up the hill to the Nakoma clubhouse, which is on your right.

From Sacramento and Truckee-
Take I-80 over the Donner Summit to exit 188B, which says Highway 89 toward Sierraville. Take a left turn onto 89, go around the roundabout after crossing under the freeway, and continue on Highway 89. You will pass through Sierraville and Sattley. Shortly before reaching Graeagle you will first see a sign for Whitehawk Ranch on your left, then County Road A-15 will be on your right about another mile down the road. Turn there and continue on A-15 for about 4 miles until you see the granite monument sign engraved with Nakoma and Dragon on the right. Turn right and drive up the hill to the Nakoma Clubhouse.
