The Team

Caleb Olsen
Head Golf Professional, PGA Apprentice

Caleb Olsen is thrilled to serve as the Head Golf Professional at Nakoma Golf Resort. Caleb first came to Nakoma as the Assistant Golf Professional before accepting the position of Head Golf Professional in early 2012.

Caleb initially fell in love with golf while stationed in Hawaii during his service for the United States Marine Corps. Once experiencing the beauty that is Hawaii golf, Caleb knew he had found his next calling in life. Other than his family, it was the love of the game that kept him motivated during deployments. Concluding his USMC service, Caleb enrolled at the Golf Academy of America and graduated with a Golf Complex Operations degree in spring 2011.

Whether it’s your weekly tee-time, group outing, or tournament, Caleb's passion lies in ensuring every golfer’s experience at Nakoma Golf Resort is a special one. Lessons are core to what he enjoys most, as Caleb strives to offer detailed, yet all encompassing sessions where the instructor and student can create a relationship that will produce positive results.

The correct swing plane is the basis of Caleb’s teaching philosophy. Caleb welcomes any and all opportunities to work with juniors expanding upon the maturing potential and talent, while emphasizing golf fundamentals.

Whether it’s a lesson, a passing tip, or a conversation at the clubhouse, Caleb looks forward to meeting you!
